PGA Verano · Tradition · Port St. Lucie
Across three visits over approximately seven months, Natural Designs transformed a backyard that began as open lawn into a layered landscape with improved planting soil, palms, colorful ornamentals, groundcovers, boulders and a completed center bed.

Phase One — Establishing the Landscape
The backyard initially consisted of grass. Natural Designs developed the landscape plan and coordinated the installation sequence with the fence company and the property’s separate irrigation contractor so the work could proceed in the right order. Irrigation work was handled by that separate contractor.
Topsoil was added to improve the planting conditions before the new beds were installed. Natural Designs selected, supplied and installed the groundcovers, bushes, shrubs and palms, including a Sylvester palm positioned as the lakefront focal point.

Phase Two — Expanding the Side Plantings
During the second visit, Natural Designs added individual foxtail palms along the side areas and introduced additional colorful ornamental plants. This phase expanded the planted framework while preserving open lawn and clear views across the backyard.
Phase Three — Completing the Center Bed
The third visit completed the center of the yard with a new landscape bed designed, supplied and installed by Natural Designs. Tropical foliage, ornamental color, low-growing forms and landscape boulders create a layered composition that connects the earlier perimeter work.

Details Across the Finished Landscape
Repeated plant forms, deep mulch, the palms and carefully placed boulders now tie the three installation phases together. The result feels established and cohesive while retaining usable lawn and the open lakefront setting.
