This established Vero Beach home had very old landscaping that needed a complete refresh. Natural Designs removed the existing landscape while preserving one pygmy date palm that could be incorporated into the new design.
The updated planting combines foxtail ferns, false agave, peach crossandra, liriope, and coontie palms. These plants create layers of tropical foliage, contrasting forms, and seasonal color around the preserved palm.
Glazed ceramic spheres were incorporated as decorative focal points, adding bold color and a smooth texture against the surrounding plants and stone. Garden edging blocks were used to contain the stone and clearly define the planting beds.
