One Connected Landscape Around the Property
Natural Designs Landscape Co. created a coordinated landscape transformation for this Astor Creek property in Port St. Lucie. The project connected a redesigned front landscape with newly created planting areas along the sides and throughout the backyard.
The backyard and side areas previously had no landscaping. Natural Designs developed the landscape design, selected and supplied the plant material, prepared the planting areas, and completed the landscape installation.
Building the Side and Backyard Planting Areas
The new planting areas introduce palms, layered tropical foliage, flowering color, and low-growing selections around the home. Curved bed lines create movement through the lawn while the varied heights establish focal points and help each section feel connected.
The backyard design works with the open lawn and screened outdoor areas rather than overwhelming them. Planting beds provide structure around the perimeter and create a finished view from multiple points across the property.
Soil Preparation and Plant Selection
Topsoil was incorporated to improve the planting conditions before the new material was installed. Natural Designs selected and supplied the project plants and supporting materials, combining palms, shrubs, colorful foliage, and smaller accents for a layered South Florida landscape.
The project was also coordinated with a separate irrigation company so the finished planting areas would receive appropriate water coverage. Natural Designs did not perform irrigation installation or repair.
Extending the Design Beside the Driveway
The landscape continues beside the driveway with a coordinated planting bed that carries the same tropical character toward the front of the property. Repeated color, foliage forms, and bed finishes visually connect this area with the broader front, side, and backyard design.
